The Power of "WE"

Please remain as you were.  I will be brief.

Mother Theresa once said, “What could I have done without my Sisters?”

The world’s greatest humanitarian recognized
the importance of honoring those who served along-side her.

Chinese philosopher Lao Tzu said, "Fail to honor people, they fail to honor you.

Many other leaders, gurus and speakers tell us this idea.  I’m just adding my voice.

“WE” is powerful.

That is all I have to say for today.

  1. Larry Black, esteemed music minister for at least two decades at FBC, Jackson, MS, had about 300 or so in his main choir. "What is the key to such a ministry?" he undoubtedly was asked often. I can answer that!

I was a visiting musician at his church one week and observed the key: Praise and encouragement.Anytime he spoke to his choir in rehearsal, it contained at least one of those ingredients. It would go something like this:"Aw, altos—that's not like you to miss that note! I know for sure you can do that better. Let's try it again." Or, "Hey, tenors—I've heard you sing harder stuff than that better. I know this next time you'll prove it!"

You never know what dragons can be slain as a result of a group of people who have been prepared through praise and encouragement!
