Not Choosing Is Choosing

Not every choice results in action.  Sometimes, choosing means passing the opportunity by.

~I’ve let jobs pass me by.

~I’ve let food choices pass me by.

~I’ve let books and movies pass me by.

And I’ve lived to tell about it.

Just because something is offered doesn’t mean you should take a bite.

I saw my old baseball coach recently.  He taught me the beginnings of this a long time ago, only he said it another way.  Billy said – “Don’t swing at every pitch.”

I’ve never forgotten that and I still adhere to it.

That is all I have to say for today.
