Savor
the Memories
I’m
sitting enjoying one of the great water-view sights in Seattle at Lowell’s
Restaurant in Pike Place Market. I have
my sights on a lovely cruise ship – The Norwegian Bliss.
Memories of two other cruises flood my mind. I can see and relive so much of both of those cruises. I love memories.
A few
years ago, I started a file of my early childhood memories and stories I remembered. Those become more cherished as the years
float by.
It’s
past history. How important is
that? We are reminded of where we came
from, and how we survived. We relive the
good and the bad, and learn from it all.
If I
let them, my memories prompt me and affect my todays. I’m thankful for what I’ve gone thru, and
anticipate making lots more memories. My
cardiologist, before heart surgery, told me he could give me another twenty
years. Oh my. I think I’ll take those precious gifts.
Time
to make more memories.
This is what is
on my mind today.
