"What is the key to such a ministry?" he undoubtedly was asked often. I can answer that!<br /><br />I was a visiting musician at his church one week and observed the key: Praise and encouragement.Anytime he spoke to his choir in rehearsal, it contained at least one of those ingredients. It would go something like this:"Aw, altos—that's not like you to miss that note! I know for sure you can do that better. Let's try it again." Or, "Hey, tenors—I've heard you sing harder stuff than that better.
